Wall St climbs for third straight day (Reuters)

NEW YORK (Reuters) ? Wall Street closed its best three-day run in last three months on Wednesday after the Greek parliament approved austerity measures to avoid defaulting on its debt.

The Dow Jones industrial average (.DJI) gained 72.73 points, or 0.60 percent, to end unofficially at 12,261.42. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index (.SPX) rose 10.75 points, or 0.83 percent, to finish unofficially at 1,307.42. The Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC) advanced 11.18 points, or 0.41 percent, to close unofficially at 2,740.49.
